Respect all. Fear none.
I left home when I was 11 and moved to a boarding school in Satakunta, on Finland’s west coast. For the next eight years, it wasn’t just a place to study, it was my home. It taught me how to take care of myself, adapt to new situations, read people, and trust my instincts. That toughness and self-reliance have stayed with me, shaping how I approach both life and business.
Competitive sports taught me about winning, losing, and what it really takes to keep going. Truth is, I’ve learned the most from the games and tournaments I lost. Losing builds resilience. It forces you to reflect, push harder, and trust the process, because if you stay in the game long enough, the wins will come. It’s also where I picked up a rule I still live by: Respect all, fear none.
Seventeen years in finance gave me my professional foundation, from corporate banking to wealth management. While working as a Creative Director in wealth management, I found myself drawn to the speed, grit, and constant problem-solving of startup life. That role became my unexpected segway into the world of growth companies. I’ve had the opportunity to learn by doing: raising funding, scaling teams, testing product-market fits and proof of concepts, and navigating the risks that come with bold decisions, including the tough calls when things don’t go to plan.
Today, I help growth companies and founders navigate funding, scale with intention, and make clear, confident decisions under pressure. I believe in clarity, smart risks, and backing people who bet on themselves.
